Police said specialist "chicken catchers" and vets are at the scene.
Specialist Chicken Catcher? Is that a job?

How do you become a specialist chicken catcher, is there sufficient demand for this to be a career choice? Plan B anyone?

        Edit:

Dammit, wendigo beat me too it

Is there a career ladder for this? Do you start at Trainee Chicken Catcher....

Maybe you start with something easier, smaller and slower, like slugs.

Damn it - all these years, I've just been an amateur chicken catcher. Now that I'm needed, and I don't have the right skills

No, but we know why they crossed the road.

Call the Pied Saxophonist. Chickens are funky after all.

                    That will be Rocky then.

Why not just let the cars run them over. How much damage will a chicken do? Presumably they were on their way to meet their maker anyway - it just means this way they had a fighting chance.
Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

                    I preferred version 1!
