    Manchester nights out

The little 'un is off to her grandparents for the weekend, so we and the missus are off to Manchester for the weekend as we haven't had a weekend away together or a good night out in years.

We are stopping in the city center (Peter Street) and are looking for some recomendations for nights out.

    The current plan is:
Friday: Pub -> Club -> Takeaway -> Barf
Saturday: Nice meal, few quiet drinks

    Any ideas?

The Lowry Hotel is very good.
Have patience. In time, even grass becomes milk.

there is loads to do in Manchester, you'll have a fab time... Pub -> club.... you might want to stay away from Peter St, it's a meat market on a Fri/Sat night but there's loads of places on Deansgate! Nice take away near Mulligans (ask anyone!) have the best kebabs

Sat - Loads of nice places to eat - Gaucho Grill... yum but real busy, Alberts Shed - in Castlefield real nice - San Carlo yummy..... ah there is just too much to choose from.

Firstly check out the Northern quarter, it's arty/ cafe bar culture, for clubs depends what you like, for Indy there's
Clint Boon at South or Dawn Action at the Fab Cafe,
also you have Rock world if that's your bag. DOn't have a clue about dance music. There are loads of clubs and comedy clubs including the comedy store
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”

For the Friday you could head off down Deansgate Lock. It depends if you like it busy and loud or not. All pubs are great and all have downstairs clubs which are very funky.
(Plus - get yourself into the old fashioned boozer City Road, opposite the Hacienda up the street from here early doors on the Friday night for some Kareoke )

Saturday....I'd suggest Goucho Grill. BEST steakhouse inhe country. FACT! And it's very very swanky. And they often have a band on on a Saturday. (You have to book though - its very popular).
Plus it's just off the top of Deansgate, so you can do a few swanky living room type bars first if you fancy. or it's next door to a very nice Prohabition, for early cocktails.

Ah I wish I was coming - City Road kareoke and Goucho Grill steak is pretty much my most perfect weekend!

                The pope is a tard.
