    Self Improvement Books ,

Well , after having spent about a decade reading technical books only , I decided to find something other to read. I was browsing amazon for self-improvement books ( biz , productivity related ) – ones that make you better. Frankly there are thousands, it is almost like everybody has written one. One that cought my attention was “Meditation for dummies” lol . Might give it a try ( at least I will have a laugh )

Another one that I ve been hearing all over the place is the “4 hours Work Week”

    Anyone ?

I'm with you there 2uk. Even from my school days, techie books seem to be the only ones I ever actually finish.

I've tried some meditation ones and some of the other types of self improvement books (building a business, being happy blah blah) I think it's all a big con. The only people making money from it are the authors and printers.

In future, I'm gonna spend my "flash money" on fast cars and fast women.

I read "How to be a complete Git for Dummies". It worked for me.

How could it ever be possible to improve sasguru? Sasguru is simply metonymic for perfection.

As self help guides go, this book truly transformed my life. Cannot recommend highly enough.

That's why ground floor flats are cheaper.

Surely the only true self-help books are those you write yourself. I'm lazy, so I prefer the "get someone else to improve me" system. So I got married

so, you've spent a decade reading technical books? and now want to try something else - so you go for self improvement (which is just mental technical). try reading for the sheer joy of it. what about uncle tom's cabin or roots?
