    What car to buy next?

I want something sporty, not 'gay', not a hot hatch, not a golf in a dress.

Under 35k, there doesn't seem to be anything available, looks like they stopped making interesting cars.
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”

If you were a successful contractor, you'd buy the Audi R8 at £76k.

Is you preference for a 2 seater? I presume thats what you mean by 'sporty' but not a hatch?

Funny I was just thinking that today.

Where are all the interesting cars at affordable prices?

10+ years ago, we had the Toyota Supra + Celica GT4, Nissan Skyline, Cosworth Escort, Fiat Coupe Turbo, Lotus Carlton etc

Interesting and fast cars that weren't just a Focus + turbo. Something different.

Now it's either a hatch with a bodykit or £40K+ for some fun.

Glad I have a bus pass now.

I think Baggy might considered that a golf in an expensive dress.

Last time when you were thinking it you wondered (not unlike baggy up here) whether you are gay or not.
