Is it a bit too Arthur Daley?

Would my Merc SL look right on the drive?

I think it's very nice actually - a good bit of space round it. Only problem is swimming pools are a complete money pit.

Outside swimming pool? Can't see that getting much use unless you turn it into a duck pond.

It looks almost like Neverland. You only need the garden clock.

It looks more like crazy golf hole to me

Road noise?

Er, it's near Swindon. I have never heard a good word said about Swindon.

I have never been there myself, although I did once spend 4 hours sitting in a stationary train just outside Wootton Bassett because locals had thrown debris onto the track. :tantrum:

My great aunt lives in Wootton Bassett. It's not very nice.

I already live in the Swindon area, so it doesn't make much odds.

"We believe from the vendors that The Range is a freehold property."

"WARNING PARTICULARS NOT VERIFIED BY VENDOR."

Sounds dodgy to me....

Not a cash purchase obviously? :D

A friend of mine has a swimming pool, as the other poster pointed out they are a money pit to heat, treat etc.

I'd be happy living there. I don't think the road noise will be as bad as some might think. Have you been to have a look?

I'd be concerned about a year later finding yourself in the middle of a building site and all those lovely views being gone.

It's one fairly narrow field away from the M4. Avoid... :ohwell

According to the land registry, that house sold for £625K. Original asking price was £750K, then dropped to £665K. Sat on the market for the whole of 2008. Sold in December 2008.

I did for a while. But my wealth overtook the asking price. :wink
