Migrants bringing huge benefits to UK

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/7071612.stm

Immigration is placing increased pressure on services such as schools and hospitals, a report has claimed.

The Local Government Association is calling for a £250m-a-year fund to help regions struggling to cope with unexpected influxes of migrants.

    Other findings include:

Many schools have difficulty coping with frequently changing populations from a wide range of cultural backgrounds

Children of some migrant workers are working longer hours than permitted by law

There are too few English language classes

Many migrants go to hospital A&E for treatment rather than registering with a doctor, because they do not understand how healthcare operates in Britain

Many migrants are living in homes which are in a poor state of repair - and sometimes a fire risk

The numbers of migrants claiming homelessness help or being rehoused is increasing in some areas (so they get a free house now too?)

So council taxes are going to rise massively to support the migrants. But hang on, all these extra people must be paying loads more council tax? Something doesn't add up. Could New Labour be lieing to us about the so called benefits to the UK economy of uncontrolled and unmonitored immigration?

Prejudiced, racist & bigoted...Migrants are good
Anger as sex attacker stays in UK

Gabrielle Brown says her attacker has no right to stay in the UK
A victim of a serial sex attacker is "appalled" that he will not be deported in order to protect his human rights.
An Asylum and Immigration Tribunal upheld a ruling which blocked moves by the Home Office to deport the man, who cannot be named for legal reasons.

Mr Justice Hodge said the 20-year-old should stay in the UK as he came here from Sierra Leone, aged six, and had virtually no family in West Africa.

Victim Gabrielle Browne, 42, said he had no right to stay in the country.

Ms Browne, who waived her right to anonymity as the victim of a sex attack, said she felt "devastated and let down".

"I am appalled by the decision," she said.

"How is it right that somebody who has offended so seriously against defenceless women is allowed to remain in this country?"

Justice Hodge says the attacker's right to family life must be upheld

Her attacker had admitted indecently assaulting 11 women in the past five years.

He is being allowed to stay in the UK after his release under article eight of the Human Rights Act, which gives a person a right to a family life.
How fortunate for governments that the people they administer don't think

if they get homes fropm the council because they are homeless, the chances are high that they are also claiming social security which includes assistance paying council tax.
So, not only are they using homes that could be used by couples who may have paid tax because they are native to the UK we also may be actually paying them to live here
      It's Deja-vu all over again!

Very few of these migrants are on benefits, so let us not descend down the road of extreme nationalism. As I have always said, send all all the benefits recipients of the UK to live in Romania (cheaper than Poland). The benefits will buy more, housing is cheaper, and valuable UK housing will be freed up for migrants who want to work.
Let us not forget EU open doors immigration benefits IT contractors more than anyone

Am such a fool , I chose to work and pay taxes!!

We all know which side your bread is buttered dodgy.

Many of the rest of us are more concerned with medium to long-term overcrowding of services and land.

Cool, dodgy knows them all!! I think it very naive to say that very few immigrants are on benefits. Where are you getting your figures from? What about the issue of Europeans who claim benefits for children that are not even living in this country? Or was that a myth?
