Looking to register .net domains and have used powerpipe.net b4 which offers the usual url fwding and no annoying banners like UK2.net. Are there any reccommendations from people who are able to rave about another registrar? The main reason I will stick with Powerpipe I think is the cost - only $7.99;)

Not as cheap.... but you can do lots with the control panel and loads of features to the hosting... if you wanna host with them.

Be careful using OneAndOne.

I bought a name from them and couldn't transfer it to my webhost because the DNS settings couldn't be changed (or something like that).

I would pay the extra and go to Network Solutions, to be sure that you can host your website anywhere.
