      Most moths head for the darkness. The trouble is that you never see them. It's just the show off pervert moths who go for the bright lights.

        Naaaah I prefer this explanation

        Maybe they've tumbled to the fact that lights mean people, and people mean: Wool sweaters! On an even more basic level, a light means: Other moths! Par-ty!

                    OK moon or lamps... whatever, they love the light, therefore why do they sleep during the daylight and wake up at night? If they really liked the light shouldn't they get during the day so that they’d get plenty of light (ok not talking UK here)
