    Brighton

I'm stuck in Brighton tomorrow night and was after some sensible suggestions of where might be worth a visit in the evening......I'm recently single and looking for somewhere I can go for a solitary drink/food.....

    Any sensible suggestions accepted!

I'm in the Travelinn in the city centre by the way.

What do you mean stuck? ;-)

I think the Travelinn is the one on the A23/London Road isn't it?

There are plenty of nice quiet pubs in town; one in the lanes on the corner but I can't remember the name.....failing that there is a pub near the viaduct (turn right when walking towards town) which looks quite nice.

I will try and dig out some names & locations later.

Gordon Ramsay was revamping a restaurant there now called "Love's" - might be worth seeing if it's any good now.

        Thanks mate.

The Travel Inn is the one on North Street (right in the city centre I believe). I think it's the Travellodge on the A23.....

Just go into a pub where there are loads of blokes with shaved heads and moustaches. You'll be guaranteed a "warm" reception.
            Hard Brexit now!

Monk's Head? It was good years ago, haven't been for ages.
