    Idea

What do you think of a website where embryionic businesses can pitch for funding (a la Dragons Den) and ordinary people can buy into the business (buy shares online) if they think the business has merit?

The site offers advice, legal framework, ability to pay for shares, forums, etc?

Or is it a c rap idea?

    Sounds interesting,

What search terms do you think people would be putting into search engines looking for something like this?

Check if there's a demand and take it from there:

      Is this your pitch?
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson

Can I reject applicants if they aren't in a pinstripe suit?

I was thinking of 3 main types of people who would use the site.

          1. Business persons looking for funding in exchange for equity in the business.
          2. Investors (big and small) looking to put in money in possibly high risk high return investments.
          3. Lawyers, accountants, banks, etc looking to sell products and services.

I've got a brilliant idea for a play. It's called 'springtime for hitler'. Anyone want to invest?

              What is your current turnover?
What is your projected turnover year 1, 2 and 3?

              Have you sold any yet?
Do you have the IP/Patent rights?

What do you need the money for?

Can I have 49% of your company forra a fiver?

                  Dim,

I think you need to go home and have a lie down.
