How many squirrels do you need to make a thread 2km long?

You'd have to stretch 'em a bit...

You'd have to have 47 "Stretch Armstrong" type squirrels for that kind of length.

I'm surprised no-one has written a computer game about squirrels, sort of lemmings stylee...

            Hmmm...

I think I'll give my old mate Jeff "the hairy Yak" Minter a call and see if he fancies writing "Attack of the Mutant Tree Rats!!!"...

I'd love that, and actually pay for it, shareware.

Good grief, that's a name from the past! He did all those trippy C64 games about llamas.

                God, I'm old....

Interesting that Lemmings game was actually made in Britain by some God forsaken company in Dundee (yes in Scotland), I was there for a job interview in 1999: I started travelling there by train from around 6am, and by the time I reached the place at 1pm the only thing I cared is to finish the interview as quick as possible to avoid missing the last train to the mainland at 3pm. Jesus, you have to be a loser to voluntarily move to work and live in Dundee

I did some consultancy at NCR in Dundee, flew there. Bloody short runway!
