That is a very sad story. Bent cops were rife in the 70s though - I hope thats changed.Hard Brexit now!

The only thing that needs to be done in order to keep it balanced is to give cash compensation to those who get released without charge (or charge fails in court) - say £50k for 28 days detention, and £250k for 3 months. I'd agree to do the time in jail for this kind of money.Comment
