London - cheap as chips

At gatwick I paid £3 or there abouts for hot chocolate and I thought that's cheap! Well compared to Bergen ;O)

it's minus 1 here at the minute 2 of bedroom windows were frozen over this morning like I was in the car.

When I did go to fill up the car though it was only 85p a litre and shopping in the supermarket is no more expensive than the UK now, only when eating out hence the hot chocolate comment.

9p bus ride in Beijing. Well whats that as a % of an average wage that bus ticket represents in each area.

Its like these "could you live on less than a dollar a day" adverts...... well yes if I was in Africa where a loaf of bread costs 1p less than **** all.
