Piztal in Austria saw one of the biggest snowfalls of the weekend, receiving 50cm on Sunday alone and currently has 6 out of 7 lifts open. In Italy, Val Senales also got 50cm on Sunday and has 5 out of 13 lifts open.

Kitzbühel had enough snow cover open some of its runs on Saturday, six weeks ahead of schedule.

Hopefully that bodes well for a good european season, since I'm not venturing across the atlantic this year ...
