Would you grass on your contractor buddies?

If HMRC came calling and demanded back taxes etc, and you knew you were gonna get lamped for this, would you be sly and offer to be a mole for HMRC?

Would you offer to "out" other contractors and hence try to offer to HMRC that they would "win" more taxes from other contractors - but you would only do this if they let you off?

Well, would you? Or have you already?

don't think they could "let you off" could they ?

If you haven't paid the correct tax - thats it you have to pay - if they assist you or allow you not to pay then they are as guilty of fraud as you are [ probably more so ].

HMRC is not like the police where you can make, break and bend the laws as and when you see fit.

              However, purely hypothetically - yes.

Agreed. It's not the British way. Name, rank and serial number only!

How about colloborating with the enemy, then getting CDs and fake designer label clothes from mad dictator as well as trying to sell stories to newspapers after release?
