    Incapacity Benefit

Anyone here a bit spotty? Overdown the liver pate? Maybe feeling a wee bit tired? Sign on!

Tiredness, gout and acne are some of the illnesses cited by incapacity benefit claimants, according to a Department of Work and Pensions document disclosed under the freedom of information act.

The checklist has a total of 480 complaints that people of working age have used to receive incapacity benefit, which costs the government (taxpayer you leftie dickwads!) £7.5bn annually and remains stubbornly high.

The DWP list shows almost 2,000 claimants recorded as suffering from obesity claiming £4.4m, another 1,100 with sleep disorders, and 50 with the skin disorder acne - who collected around £100,000.

Another 50,000 claimants receive £122m in payments for stress, 15,600 cannot work because of what is described as "malaise and fatigue", while another 8,100 suffer from dizziness and giddiness. Another 4,000 claimants have headaches, and 2,700 have migraines. Haemorrhoids is cited by 380 people . About 500,000 people areunable to work because they have depression. (get over it!)

FFS. It's almost as if a Socialist government likes to have people totally dependent on the State for handouts.

Gout is massively painful - I have had it from time to time. It isn't about high living and rich food - although they can make it worse. It's an inability of your body to remove a subbstance from your blood. It crystalises in your joints generally where the blood flow is low eg toes and ankles. It forms sharp needle like crystals and can wreck the joint in a seriously short time. Because I work for me I tend to struggle through with it. If I were a permie I would definately take time off though.
Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

    I preferred version 1!

Thanks god for the Poles. If it weren't for them offering themselves as slaves how could our lazy enjoy a life of Jeremy Kyle, oven chips and crack?

      wot wot
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”

These people aren't just robbing off the taxpayer they are stealing off the genuinely disabled/old/infirm, that makes me more mad than anything.

How do we get them off the benefits? Simple, remove tax from earnings up to 10k and make the criteria for the benefit more strict. It's not bloody rocket science is it!?

Indeed. It is a matter of national disgrace that under a supposedly socialist government an employee earning less than £6,000 pa has a marginal tax rate on their income of 31% (or will have from next April).

While your how about the mobility car scam ! I was looking at cars yesterday and asked why there was quite a few 3 year old cars with very low mileage. They are free state provided cars for people on incapacity, why do they have to have a brand new one every 3 years !?

They pay for the car out of the benefit as a lease hire. You have to qualify for a diability badge to get one. I don't think you can get one for depression, fatness, or spots, although I may be wrong
