Company set up, got paid, no accountant

    Hello fellow coders,
I need an accountant that does not cost the earth and is reliable
to do my newly formed Ltd company accounts. ANy recommnedations?

I am quite frankly scared of all I must do (insuarnece, VAT, expenses
    etc etc)

Pls someone recommend me a reliable & cheap accountant.

    Thanks
    wawens

    1. We're not all coders. nerds or geeks.
    2. SJD or Nixon Willaims get good reviews on these boards - NW are the cheaper of the 2.
    3. Read the stickeys at the top of the board

4, or you can wait a while and some other accountants will be along shortly to proposition you...

            if [accountant.rate] = 'cheap' then

            set [accountant.abilty] = 'poor'

            else

            set [accountant.abilty] = 'good'

            end

            couldn't resist.

PS: please do not lower yourself to a reply that corrects or abuses my go at code. its not clever

Perfectly valid and clear pseudocode. Can't fault it. Unambiguous and language independent. The logic makes sense too. I even agree with the real world interpretation. Marvellous. 10/10. Super. Personally I would have used 'endif' or 'fi' but no matter - it's spiffy as it is. Maybe ":=" or "<-" instead of "=" but that comes from language bias so ignore me. Really. It's wonderful.

              Shame about:

              abilty
              and
              its

So your pseudocode's great. But your English is utterly tulipe.

                    accountants

I am looking at all the suggesions for accountants here. Just looking
at Danbro now. It seems they want one year upfront. And its 500 to 1000 range. Then all they have to do is be a little rude so we go away and they cash the year's subscription. Its happened to me before. And they are bound to get tired of my petty-fogging enquiries and missing forms etc etc. JSA got 'weird' in the end - it was unnerving dealing with them. I suppose they are havibg hundreds of law suits and are afraid of us a little
Anyway, thanks for your accountant sugestions, - Ilook at them all and will settle on one soon.
