    Canoeist amnesiac arrested

Apparently (in world press) the wife of the presumed deceased, recently cashed in a life insurance policy on her husband (after waiting years for him to be declared dead (No Body) to enable the claim), sold off their two houses and took herself and all the assets to Panama
Hopes that Newly returned Husband will soon join her. (husbands passport apparently not valid at moment and requires new one)
Wife delighted at husbands return. and will return to the uk herself once she sorts out some visa problem in Panama. (and her furniture turns up).
Wife understands that her (Large) insurance payout may have to be returned, (declines to say whether she has spent it) which will make things difficult. but hopes her husband will join her soon in Panama.

        eeerrr - good point.

A lady in the office is about to do a sponsored Canoe for charity - 200km in 24 hours. Next April. I am arranging for sponsorship - my girlfriend's sister works for Royal Blind Society so trying to get them linked...

It's splattered all over the web now, front page of Sky News for example, so just do a Google you idle plank.

the newspapers always tell the truth, especially when dealing with people who don't have the resource to fight back, allegedly, apparently etc.
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”
