Foreign workers poised to be fast-tracked into Britain under new points system.

The plans are part of the programme to be announced today by Ministers for non-EU migrants who can come to the UK without even a job offer.

In a speech Home Secretary Jacqui Smith will call the measures the 'biggest shake-up of our immigration system in our history'.

Using his first address as Prime Minister to the TUC, the Prime Minister said he wants to reduce the number of immigrants and create 'up to 500,000 British jobs for British workers'.

It's has already been like this for the past 5 years? I thought that's what HSMP is all about. There are lot of HSMPers in the finance industry here in London.
