    Big mistake

I applied for a few jobs at way above my usual rate on Jobserve for fun the other day and activated my latest CV.

Now I'm being called and e-mailed constantly throughout the day by agents trying to recruit me for work before and after xmas.

I just want to take some time off in January!

I don't answer the phone anymore.

    I've deactivated my cv too.

    Whew!
Don't ask Beaker. He's just another muppet.

spent £20 on a Pay As You Go phone and put that number on my CV when I was applying for things. I haven't been harassed by agents in months now, because I haven't switched it on

Sods law dictates that the supply of work will completely dry up the moment you decide to return to work.

Also, I posted a question in the Ask Beaker thread, when you get a minute...

I bought an iPhone, contacted agents with my new number and then set it on fire so they wouldn't bother me. Expensive but it works!
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”

You should be fine, if you succumbed to the hard sell on insurance from the carphone warehouse.

I bought an old red telephone box, erected it in the council tip, connected it to a BT landline service, gave the agents that number, then blew it up. It was the only way to stop them bothering me.

You all treat agents as enemies to me they are my customers...

Every time they call my premium rate number to advise me of the latest job the £££'s are rolling in... queuing time is about 5 minutes before there actually speaking to me, was thinking of increasing it to 6 with Christmas coming up and all.

I simply put the agents number on my CV.

It does confuse the poor dears.
