Advice - Check ALL your accounts regularly

I always check my bank/credit card statements but must admit do not check reserve or savings accounts that often.

Just discovered today that about £1200 has gone from my CT fund in my business reserve account. Not fraud, just some cockup, I have been paying direct debit for someone else's mortgage.

They are going to have a good Christmas when the bank takes all the money back off them.

      Errors...

Coincide with a lot of rich people being away. Some banks tend to take a nice sum from your account before Xmas and put it back after the NY just to balance their books.
It usually happens to quite wealthy people.

That's why I own my bank.

Just checked Nationwide mortgage account. They charged us £399 twice for arranging a mortgage. Was straight on phone.

This could cause the whole credit markets to freeze up...
