        Futile, futile, futile.

        They're not listening.

        Write to your MP instead.

Yes, that will force them to send you a standard letter in response.

Face facts people, there is no democracy in the UK.

Put up and shut up or leave the country.

Oh, and buy some BTL's to take your mind off it.

And a jolly good thing too. Democracy only works when a select few are rich.

Previous experience shows it really depends on the MP.

Only bother writing if they are Conservative or Lib Dem as then at least you have a chance of them going to the vote and abstaining.

I've written to my MP a couple of times and each time it was useless. He is a Labour MP and all he did was pass my note onto dim prawn and Ed Balls Up. I got a stock response from them. He is one of your old school Labour MP's who preach equality for all while enjoying a £60k salary and about twice that in expenses.
Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

                I preferred version 1!

Why. If I was a BTLer (which I am not, but plenty here are) I would welcome the CGT change (or do you think that there is the slightest possibility of the 18% staying and all the reliefs coming back as well - um, no that's not going to happen)
