    Best Thai Restaurant in London

    Any recommendations?

My Sydney fave is Thai Pothong, been there for 20 years that I know of and seats 200 people and is full Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights...

No idea about London but found a fab one in Kings Cross in Sydney. I forget the name, it was on the main road just past the crazy fountain and had an indoor pagoda and cost a fortune, best Thai meal I ever had

My wife (who is a lot fussier than I am) likes Suchard - Google should give you the address.

Ambience is far from posh, prices are cheap, but food is good. Just across the river from the City, much closer to Tower Bridge than London Bridge, if you're walking.

I often stop at Cool Monkey in Holland Park on my way home. Small, friendly, tasty and reasonably priced. Much better than the two Thai places on Kensington High St.
Don't ask Beaker. He's just another muppet.

The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”

            2 good ones in Soho:
Sri Thai on Old Compton Street
Patara on Greek Street. (Patara has a few other branches around town too).
