I was going to make the following bets this year

£1000 that I will live to 70
£1000 That I will live to 80
£1000 That I will live to 90
£1000 That I will live to 100

Should get a nice lump sume every 10 years when I am retired. mind you I won't see the money this year so it may not answer the question...

Also read recently that minerals and/or copper were heading for a fall. Sorry, can't remember and un-able to find the article.
Was probably in the Torygraph in anyone is better at searching than me.
