    Poncy named crisp flavours

Is it just me or does anyone else get a bit irked by some of the names of crisp flavours coming out these days?

I don't mind the ones that have exotic flavours but some of the poncy names for things like salt and pepper, cheese and onion I think are going a bit too far?

Is this worth a post on a forum or do I need a life?

I know someone whose favourite is cheese and onion walkers - in a warburtons bread sandwich!

There's one brand whose salt & vinegar arbitrage is called "chardonnay wine".

Anyone remember 'hedgehog' flavour from the mid-eighties? Or is that too poncy?

You mean "Organic Wild English Hedgehog with Crushed Tyre Rubber and West Cornish Tarmac"?

Walkers ready salted, cheese and onion and salt and vinegar are the only ones worth bothering about.

I like normal crisps, not these fancy newbie types that have come out in recent years like kettle chips, crinkle chips, thick cut and so on.

That reminds me of the game where you describe some circumstances and then others try to guess how it came about. Here's the albatross one.

"A man sees a cafe advertising albatross sandwiches. He goes in and buys one, takes one bite and then rushes out and hurls himself under a bus."

What led him to do that?

Walkers cheese and onion are the best, though they are in the wrong colour packets.
Will work inside IR35. Or for food.
