    Worlds thinnest notebook...by Apple

    http://www.reghardware.co.uk/2008/01/15/macbook_air/

Well, it certainly has a bigger display, faster processor, and more storage/memory than my last notebook...from 6 years ago.

Is it really an achievement in that time?

It might not be the first, but it's a Mac so it will always be the best.

Decent kit, but it's whether it does the job that counts.

      Apple does it again!

I love Apple Macs and would use one all the time if it weren't for compatibility issues. They are so easy to fix too if you lose a file or something else happens with general performance issues. Not like PCs where you need a degree in IT to fix it. They are so much more stylish that ordinary PC laptops. I've had two Mac desktops in my time, but not a laptop. This one looks the dogs bollox.

I hope to buy one in 2009 once I have had my bonus linked appraisal.
However, its not definite. Here's hoping.

I believe the term you're referring to is whipping boy. I prefer the term
                "chump".
It's about time I changed this sig...

Mac laptops are things of beauty, and this one is no different.

Not sure I need something that expensive when my blackbook is still going strong. Or is that FutureWife impressing her thoughts on me again.
