    Overpaid!

I left my permie job 3 months ago - they are STILL paying me!

Opinions on what to do most welcome.....

I was a contractor, then went permie to a good, large interesting role 10 minutes walk from home for a GCHQ project, although, as he project did not get off the ground they wanted me to go to Leeds daily, hence I left.

The extra money is nice, but, can they insist on having it back??

They can ask for it back but you can keep the interest.

Or you could be extra cheeky and charge them a 'handling fee' (it seems to work for the banks).

You should do the right thing - contact them and tell about the situation. Maybe they are paying for something you have forgotten about, if that's the case get this explained in writing. Most likely they made mistake and will want money back. You will have to return them.

Otherwise GCHQ special troops will slit your throat while you are fast asleep.

Okay - going to the building society on Saturday morning to discuss high interest accounts

Call them and tell them that they have made a mistake and they have to actually give you 10 times more. Then take all the money and escape to a tropical island.

Of course they are. You're a permie pretending to be a contractor, duh!

He can at least take some comfort from the fact that he's made 2 decisions in the last few months. Judging from some of his other posts that's a major achievement...
