SC vs CTC Security Clearance

Hi,

Apologies if this has been covered before but "SC" and "CTC" are too short for the forum's search function :-/

Can anyone tell me the difference between the two levels of clearance? I have SC clearance through the DVA thanks to a lengthy contract with the MoD but a lot of roles require CTC (Counter Terrorism Check?) clearance and as far as I can see, they're both at the same "level".

I'd appreciate it if you could shed some light on the topic.
