    Has anyone ever looked into this (translation: I'm too lazy to).

    It all seems a bit murky and cliquey (probably intentionally), but there seems to be lots of people claiming to make good money out of it.

    Surely some shmuck on here has this as their fabled plan B?

    I know someone who does.

    They tried to explain it to me, and it's basically a scam.

    You offer free CD's, reports, non-license software, in return for email addresses to build lists for companies.

    It's a big con.
