Long time lurker, first time poster. Love the site BTW!
Anyway I've had this brilliant idea for a website and I'd appreciate you input.
The idea is to connect companies who need work doing with people who want to work, simple eh?
I've had a bit of a google and can't find much info on this as it's clearly a niche market, so I was wondering if you could point me towards a list of companies that hire people, or to a list of people looking for work. Preferably to do with computers.

To everyone who reviewed my site. I don't think you appreciate how hard I worked on this! I know some of you build these things for a living and I know I'm getting your advice for free but it just seems like you're picking holes for no reason.

Dammit, Just had a call off NTL. Apparently your not supposed to run a commercial site off the free webspace and a contractor named GreenFortune has been posting pictures of naked ladies on the site which has taken me over my 'fair usage policy'

Ok final nail in the business coffin. The DPA are suing me because some code monkey has downloaded my entire database onto a CD and is selling it on Ebay. Bollox. Damn this is hard work. I wonder where that Branson bloke finds the time to drive the trains, sell the CDs and plug in the phones. That's like 3 jobs. No wonder he's minted inint. Probably doesn't have time to drink that lovely wine he makes.
