    Accountant advise

    Hello,

i have taken one of the "recommended" accountants from this board here but i am not happy with him.

My company year ended October 2007 and i am still waiting to get any tax matters.

I have wrote several emails and still get the answer "i am sorting the papers out" that was now again 6 weeks ago.

    What shall i do now?
I would like to pay my taxes and get things cleared ...

    thanks for any advise.

What is the deadline for when the tax has to be paid?

If your accountant's slowness is causing you to miss a tax deadline then I think that you have serious cause for being aggrieved.

      Presumably July 2008.

What is the rush to give Hector any money anyway, he can wait until the last minute. And the longer you have it, the longer you are earning interst on it.

If you pay C early, Hector pays you interest, the rates aren't bad either.

Name and shame if you're that unhappy.

If they're one of the "recommended" accountants on here they'll probably see your post and I imagine your affairs will then be sorted out PDQ if your grievance is genuine.
