    Did the Earth Move for you?

    An EarthQuake of all things at 00:58

    It did for me as I sat in front of my PC here in North West Leicestershire. The whole house shook and the noise was quite incredible.

    Oh yes.

    Initially it was like a large lorry rumbling past which was swiftly followed by a ripple type effect which seemed to work it's way from one end of the sofa to the other.

    Or maybe SA was just changing sides on her bed.

      Did not feel anything in Brum - in 2002 there was quake in Dudley and I felt it in Wolves

          Yeah - reasonably substantial here in Sheffield...

                  Nothing felt down here in South Devon save for a mild rumble which I have put down to the aftermath of Mrs SB's Chilli Con Carne!
