Driving through central London this morning, I stopped at Traffic lights in Chelsea, and saw a roadsweeper near the junction. Nothing unusual so far, but then I spotted a second on the other side of the road, and then a third the other side of the junction, and then a fourth opposite him. All looked suspiciously well spruced up, in shiny new dayglo jackets, but not too busy sweeping, and two were on mobile phones ..
It was 7:00am, so maybe they're all dropped off at the same place and sweep their way from there. All the same, I wonder what Nicky G would have made of it all
