    apologies to birmingham commuters

apologies to anyone on the A38 in birmingham that got held up this morning.

unfortunately when the coil goes on your car though, much as i willed it to, i'm not going to move very far even if i am in the midle lane at the front of a set of lights at the time.

can i also say thanks for the kind horn salutes I got as i pushed the car across 3 lanes of traffic and the crowd of people who didnt give me a hand to speed up the process.

dont worry though, while your all now working I'm off to the pub (well as soon as the flatbed comes to take me home) to decide if its worth fixing a'94 audi coupe, buy a sensible motorway car or splash out on the RS4 I was going to get for my 30th in October.

Chef, at the roadside on the A34 in birmingham.

Sorry chef, you gotta admit that was good.
Hope your day gets better - like you said you get to go down the pub.

Poor chap. You definitely need to get that RS4 now!

At the Dartford crossing a bit ago my brother lobbed his money in and the machine jammed. He was stuck there until sombody came over to raise the barrier. So his way forward was blocked by the bar and hisexit to the left and right was blocked by the high concrete kerb things. He couldn't revese as there was a queue behind. It didn't stop the guy behind him going mental on the horn though.
Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

                I preferred version 1!

Had that at the toll both at Storebelt: chap in front, expensive car, didn't have the money to pay, so the attendant had to fill in a long form, check ID etc. etc. I couldn't reverse out and go to the next booth along as other came and joined the queue behind me. It ended up the lLongest I've seen a queue created there when I looked back. And no, I don't know why everyone else joined our queue especially when there were other booths to go to, which were free.
