The new .Net cowboys

If you ever wondered what happened to the IT cowboys who were the dominant force in the 2000 boom, I would believe many of them have now crosstrained themselves in .net.

Yes, there is a big demand for .net specialist and few people have the expertise to check that at the interviews. We just hired a new .net consultant and I am supposed to part-time be involved with that side too soon.

Today, the presumed .net expert, asked me the question of what's the difference between ASP and ASP.net.

So Milan was right, join the .net groovy train.

Christ, i'm not even a code monkey let alone a .NET code monkey and I know the answer to that !!!!

Sounds like a quality interview panel you have there. Can you give me a company name so i can send in my cv, blag my way through the interview and then get some .NOT experiance on my cv and maybe some free training to teach me how to do it (i.e. hassle all the other .NOT contractors to show me how to do stuff).

I could be earning mega bucks in a year!!!!

Java more likely -- cowboys jump onto trendy bandwagon and .NET's only started gathering good attention recently, its pretty slow now as Microsoft drags its feet with .NET 2.0
