So, how many budding chefs do we have on this forum ?

Are you a bean-on-toast culinary expert or does cordon bleu not even make you break out in to a sweat ?

Or perhaps you are a Jamie Oliver, with a basic dish like cheese on toast, but thoughtfully garnished with a sprig of parsley ?

Oh perhaps you are just a Jamie Oliver.

    No matter...vote now !

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

Is there supposed to be a poll with this? How long do we have to wait for it to appear?

I can fry an egg and I can make fried bread......that's all my fiance will let me do in the kitchen....
the main reason being is that he's a qualified chef and so hates anyone else being in "his" kitchen (like all good chefs).

I am a great cook - but my gf was a chef for a living and still dominates the kitchen - until it is clearing up time.

                    Poll now up.

Blimey you lot are eager beavers !

                    Interesting. I noted the following.

I submitted the message, then went on to create the poll, proof-read it and then submit it. However, there is a point in there after initial submission, that the message gets posted, whilst I am still proof-reading the poll options.

                    Just so you know.
