Brown says economy is (ar)sole focus

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/7345928.stm

Does brown look like a simpering nancy in this photo or what? [BBC have pulled it!]

    The "clunking fist" indeed.

"We are on the side of home owners, business and individuals," he said.
Doesn't exactly leave anyone out then, does it, Gordon?

Please Sir, I am not an individual, neither do I own a home or run a business.
The urge to stab is almost irresistable.

You've come right out the other side of the forest of irony and ended up in the desert of wrong.

Watching him force himslef to smile is so utterly cringe enducing, it reminds me of Steve Mc Claren when he was made england manager and got Max Clifford to work as his PR guru.

His example of wearing a nappy when on a rocking horse was an inspiration to me; it changed my life in so many ways.
How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

Indeed HAB, I am surprised that the curious peccadillos (nay, perversions) of the First Lord of the Treasury seem to be unfamiliar to so many voters.

He likes to soil his nappy as he rocks, allegedly.

Good job that Darling is on hand with the talc eh?

My God the BBC are on the ball!

They've swapped the 'PM as a Nancy' photo for some lame video clip.

Good to see that our license fees are being well spent!

(and that they constantly analyse their referrer logs)

                From the article, quoting GB:

"We are the only economy of the major economies that has continued to grow without a major recession in the last 10 years,"
What utter tulip - The guy lies through his teeth, just as he has about the EU treaty and everything else!

Have there been any recessions in China since 1998, or in most major economies, apart from one or two blips which hardly count as "major recessions" (and which the UK suffered too, as in 2001 for example).

And also through his nostrils, sphincter, ear-holes, japs-eye, tear-ducts and every rancid little pore in his noxious flesh.
