One of the car mags rated it in the top 3 for getway vehicles, based on (something along the lines of):

1. You wouldn't look at it twice
2. Can fit 4 burly blokes and loads of swag in
3. Goes like stink

Mine does 0-100 in 15.5 seconds. It will stay with a Porsche Cayenne (it'll also stay with a Boxster...), X-series Bimmers don't get close.

It is one of the most practical cars on the UK market, it never goes wrong and people don't buy it because it hasn't got a diesel engine. The new one has, so I suspect you'll see a few more of them around.
