    Sensible tip - email viruses

Sure most here are not daft enough to click on attachments.

However, also be sure to delete any suspect emails from your inbox straight away. Otherwise, if you run a virus scan, your virus checker will delete your entire inbox! (Each directory is stored as a single file)

Another tip. Try not to store CD-ROMs in jam. I did it once. Thought the jam would help keep the CDs cool in the hot weather.

Suppose I haven't got any jam? What should I avoid instead?

            Vegemite is okay though.

              Bitter experience perchance?

You could view the mail on the server, and delete suspicious/unwanted mail before it even lands in your inbox.

Log fires. Avoid storing your CDs in a fire. You'd be surprised what can happen

Dont try and play them on an old fashioned gramaphone either. It doesnt work. The CD players seems to ignore them afterwards too as though they are now unclean in some way!
