When do old people stop caring?

Standing in the foyer old man from upstairs comes in and says hello, I notice he has four of his top front teeth missing, and I don't think he had just been to the dentist. When do old people stop caring about these things? I can't go anywhere without cleaning my teeth and having a shower first.

Exactly when you stop asking the very same question to yourself.
I've seen much of the rest of the world. It is brutal and cruel and dark, Rome is the light.

I think it's when the young stop caring about them.

Probably when it becomes normal to wake up smelling of piss.

I vividly remember walking past one old duffer in the street years ago. He smelt like death, though in reality he probably hadn't showered for several months or years.

That's quite shocking for Lucy. She still believes that she's going to be young forever.*

            * = and for women you should consider the time for men/2.

When they are no longer interested what other people think (especially the opposite sex)
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”

Are you saying the only reason you shower is because of women?
