If Joe Bloggs were to read this forum...

What do you think the general public would think of us from what they could gather from this thread?

    That we're :-
    1. mostly self-centered (yes, you)
    2. obsessed with our property and BTLs (like most of the world)
    3. obsessed with money and one-upmanship on all things monetary.
    4. attention craving (like today's "I'm walking/winking/waving" posts)
    5. sexually starved (SA/AP and all of the guys of course)
    6. unable to hold down long-term relationships (divorce today, anyone?)
    7. tax evaders (yes, all of you unless you're PAYE)
    8. spiteful of all things Labour (only we are smart enough to see through them)
    9. obsessed with agencies and how to avoid getting screwed over by them
    10. detestful of permies (Wilmslow QED)
    11. undecided on global warming but cynical of green taxes
    12. planning early retirement but will work to death for another day's rate
    13. incessantly worrying about the economy and it's impact on our livelihoods
    14. only trying to build a good future for our families and wish that the government/HMRC would let us get on with it rather than trying to make us conform to the socialist environment they want to control

    ...anything else?

Nope, you seem to have most of it covered.

I don't disagree with any of your points, Taz. All well put.

Agree with all except the tax evasion point.

I have no problem with tax 'efficiency' - if you can you should.

As there is so much 'in' language they'd probably get a completely misinterpreted view. As in fools see not the same trees as the wise.
Insanity: repeating the same actions, but expecting different results.
threadeds website, and here's my blog.

Threaded has reminded me you forgot to add 'delusions of grandeur' to the list.

Given the rants about the state of the British education system, I didn't think Joe Bloggs could read.

I think I fit about half a dozen of those.

Shouldn't there be something in there about immigration?

I had a Joe Bloggs hooded top and Jean in the 90's, 25 inch bottoms on the jeans.
