The present Mrs B is Gluten and Lactose intolerant ( among other non-food related things, like young leggy blondes... ) so our cupboards are full of strange variations on normal foods and odd bits like a jar of Xanthan Gum.

Reminds me of when my Dad mad Elderflower juice. When we first tasted it, it was awful, sickly, so we put the bottles away; then one day one of the corks flew off, and we noticed it had gone fizzy. It was bloody fantastic, we had no idea it was supposed to be elder flower pop.

I love elderflower water - Tesco do a nice fizzy one
