Gordon Ramsay has suggested restaurants be fined for using 'out of season' produce.
Who will do the 'fining', the fruit and vegetable police?
What a cock!
I think what he says makes sense, 'out of season' produce is only because energy is so cheap. So if oil keeps going up in price it'll slow down on its own.

Which 'cheap energy' are you thinking of?
You've just contradicted yourself, again. If it 'will slow down on it's own' why should there be fines and why does he say 'make sense'???
"One of the highlights at this time of year is the abundance of bright pink, slender stems of “forced” rhubarb from Yorkshire. This type of rhubarb is grown out of season in dark sheds and is prized more highly than the outdoor variety"
So, how the bloomin' heck is anyone going to police this headline-grabbing, but basically empty idea ?
