Anyone working at an away gig not home this weekend?

    Just wondering.

It was bad enough when I used to work away from home mid-week, intolerable when trapped away all weekend.

    Anyone suffering this?

Me - home every night by 4:30 in the main. Although it was 7pm tonight due to stuffed motorways.

I am stranded on the mainland.

My life could be worse though, eh.

When I worked away I always stayed away too. WTF is so good about here to come back to?

I'm working at my walking-distance client this weekend. But work's work and it still wipes out the weekend, walking-distance or not.

Working at home, so get home for 9am every day in time for work, and I'm at work all weekend not working.
Will work inside IR35. Or for food.

            now there's a result.

Had a "now here's a much better way to do it" brainwave while putting my socks on this morning.

Thus the weekend's work has been completed in 3 hours. Roll on the sunshine!

I don't think you could pay me enough to work away again.

Been home based for five months now and it is just fantastic being in one place.

Social life is so much better. You can make new mates and see them. People know you around so you end going along to things last minute.

You wait until your first PD review when the subject of you seeming to slope off early every day comes up and the likely impact that may have on your probation period review.
