    Brown tube

Anybody more eloquent than I care to craft a question for the PM?

Something along the lines of -

"Why do you think our money is really your money, and we should be grateful for anything you let us keep?"
‎"See, you think I give a tulip. Wrong. In fact, while you talk, I'm thinking; How can I give less of a tulip? That's why I look interested."

[Comrade Brown lumbers to the microphone and speaks...]

Well, I'm really glad you asked me that Citizen Mule, and the answer is perfectly simple.

I strongly believe that all money and property rightfully belongs to the State - which I represent and embody.

The State (i.e. me), should be able to spend your hard-earned on anything that will advantage the State (and the Labour Party).

If I deem it necessary to bribe the electorate or simply quell unrest, I will allow you to beg to have some of your money back by means of a Byzantine, socialist bureaucracy that makes GUM (the old Moscow department store) look like Tesco Express.

I hope that answers your question.

If not, off to the gulags with you!

You've come right out the other side of the forest of irony and ended up in the desert of wrong.

Prime Minister Brown, was it always your intention to **** up the British economy?
