Probably overdue then. Good luck with the search. One door closes another opens etc etc.

You'll be fine it only took me 17 weeks to find another gig, not only that but I've gone from my best rate and shortest commute to the worst rate and longest commute.

How much is fuel these days??

What’s really funny in a 'kind way' is Mrs Jedi has a taken the year off to look after our first born... no pressure there then.

I do have an interview lined up for a gig on par with my best rate though, so fingers crossed.

                Good luck.

I've got to wait for my 3 month notice period to expire before I can even start looking...

                Ah well.

Good luck Scooter. Hopefully you would have saved up/invested well over the past 4 years to not have to worry too much.

I've only been contracting 4 years myself, and always tend to look at it in the context of savings, i.e. I have saved up double what I would have in my previous permie job.

So what makes me feel better is that even if I didn't work for the next 4 years I wouldn't be any worse off financially than if I had stuck to my permie job

Good luck Scooter. I've just found out that I'm being extended until December but I was really worried this time around.

                    Hope you find soemthing soon.
