Watch what car you are buying next. It might be impossible to sell it.

In 10 years time people will be bragging in the pub about their "second tanks of petrol".

I have recently bought a Nissan 350z: Group 18-19 (depending who you ask), £400 tax, 25mpg and a hell of a lot more fun than a tulipty little Aygo. I still have a Cheshire cat grin when I get out of it despite the running costs.

All I can say is I'm glad I'm not some cheap permie who has to try and big up my tulipmobile because I can't afford anything better

Just remove the tank from your car and fit a smaller one. Problem sorted. What about a human poo digester to power cars from methane?

That could sound really dodgy to some people
Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
