Its all about product and if you are a new entrant into the market you have to be a bit more blunt about your advertising, he did a vague Coca Cola ad for his product and it just didn't plug it well enough or its capabilities.

Still I think Slimy Socaflees or whatever his name was should have gone instead.

To be fair I think Raef did want to show the product more, and also to be fair his product looked carp, and was better left out. Had it been designed better, the long close-up would likely have stayed in. Despite the expert analysis (and swearing) on BBC2 I thought the winning product looked and was pitched better. Raef had an opportunity to put his hands up at that point and failed to do so. He should really know what srallen wants, even if it conflicts with his own world view.

Raef was too nice to be on The Apprentice.

I really hope the fella gets offered some TV work however, because with a few TV presenting skills, he could be a damn fine presenter.

He's eloquent, funny, and has the aplomb to do well in TV land.

I'd prefer him to Jonathan Ross any day of the week. Ross is crude, vulgar and insulting to his guests. Not the sort of TV I want to watch.

Yes I agree with that. He had a good empathy with the audience in the BBC 2 show afterwards and I think Louise "Nurding" Redknapp had a bit of a soft spot for him. Lawrence of Araefia!

'Sir' Alan (nice Labour man) doesn't like anyone that comes from a privileged background or speaks with a nice (called 'posh') English accent. Same as all Socialists. He develops an inferiority complex when he is surrounded by people like this, also he knows he can't boss them as they know more than he does. Therefore he prefer the really common ones, the ones that we may scoff at or deride like Michael Sophocles, the 'nice Jewish/Greek' boy.

I think Sugar equates being a gob $hite loudmouth with being hard nosed and a good business man, it's a bit old school these days, but ultimately this is just entertainment so I wouldn't take any of it that seriously, 100k a year may sound a lot but I bet there are 100's on here earning more than that for a lot less hastle.
