    Is carrying a knife acceptable?

What are we going to do about knife crime?

    Suggestions please...

In certain circumstances yes - I do it often especially in the kitchen.
Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

    I preferred version 1!

New Labour approach. Ban knives. All of them. Even in the kitchen. Have a national sharp-implement database and cutting edge (geddit) surveillance in every home.

Tory approach. Just make it legal to carry guns, knife crime will plummet.

          Just for starters

          Bring back 'stop and search'.
          Beef up meek police.
          Increase sentences to deter.
          (Tory approach)
          Talk about it
          Bring out more PSC's
Let them all out on bail
          (Labour approach)

Make it illegal to have children. Then in 15 years or so there'll be no 15 year olds to go round stabbing each other. Problem solved.
Will work inside IR35. Or for food.

                I blame fatherlessness.

I bet none of you were expecting that!

When they had a problem with blades in the palace of Westminster they painted two lines on the floor which the members were not allowed to cross. Knife crime could be eliminated if nobody was allowed within 2 metres of another person.
How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.
