This is 1999 all over again. Someone looking for ADA; yesterday someone was asking me about RPG/RapidGen; and FORTRAN/COBOL came up the other day too.
How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

That would be Logica in Leatherhead then. I interviewed with them and they turned me down. Don't know why, I am a perfect fit for them though I am a little light on UML.
I am not qualified to give the above advice!

That's just around the corner from me, would it be worth me quickly reading an ADA manual

Read it on the train on the way in.

I remember seeing some asian guy on a train into london once, clearly a contractor. Had the dummies guide to MS SQL on his lap.

The phone went (obviously the pimp) and he was straight in there, oh yeah... MS SQL, no problem. I'm highly experienced with that product.

The only time I've ever witnessed that and I was a permie at the time. Blagging at it's finest.
